Healthcare Environmental Services Group, have developed a fully re-usable sharps container system. We have designed and fully patented our own re-usable sharps containers.

Sharp Healthcare was developed to provide a system to allow the healthcare sector to reduce plastics destruction and to help eliminate the problem of needle stick injuries to healthcare professionals.

Over four years of development has resulted in the only true low cost reusable sharps container developed within the UK. We have worked closely with healthcare proffesionals throughout our development stages to ensuring that our containers meet the needs of the user and that of the disposal facility.

We have four bins within the range 3ltr, 7ltr, 14ltr & 22ltr, all four bins are developed with compliance and safety to the forefront, we have a fully patented design and a unique temporary closure method which ensures that all bins can be carried safely throught the working environment.

Our containers comply with all government guidelines including BS 5750, UN 3291 and all our bins are sterilised to the standard HTM 20/30.

We believe that  our systems can reduce each producers waste production by 5% just by using our containers, the associated cost benefits are enormous.
