We supply dedicated account managers with a wide knowledge of the waste management industry to ensure our customers are fully compliant with all environmental legislation.

Healthcare Environmental Group have over 200 employees operating throughout the UK, all fully trained in the safe collection & disposal of all types of waste. We are full Members of the SMDSA, CIWM & FTA, all our systems are compliant with our accreditation to ISO 9001 & 14001.

We ensure that all disposal sites utilised by us hold current waste management licences in accordance with the Waste Management Licensing Act 1984 and all other relevant statutory requirements, including Integrated Pollution Control (IPC Authorisation), Control of Pollution Act 1974 and 1980, the Environment Protection Act 1990, Duty of Care 1990, the Safe Disposal of Clinical Waste (HSE guidance), Waste Management Paper 25 (DoE) and the Special Waste Regulations 1996.

We also undertake responsibility for the classification and labelling of the waste pursuant to the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail (Classification, Packaging and Labelling) Regulations 1996. All waste storage containers supplied by ourselves conform to the relevant British/ISO standard and UN approval, as appropriate.

Providing a fully audited waste collection and disposal service to each individual customer, all our group companies ensure compliance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Duty of Care) by supplying a fully completed waste transfer note with each and every collection.

As part of our ongoing quality procedures, we are fully accredited to the quality standard ISO 9001, and accredited with ISO 14001, and we are also a recognised Investor in People.
